TITLE: Oriental Garden
DESCRIPTION: 38" x 36" $1,100.00
Japanese Ukata fabric, otherwise known as summer kimono fabric, inspired me to create this piece. I was also experimenting with windows at the time- a recurrent theme in my work. Machine quilted as well as hand quilted in the Sashiko style. Fabric oragami birds grace the top with a bamboo rod for hanging.
