TITLE: Passage

DESCRIPTION: Passage - 31" x 53" - Inspired by a painting of Robert Delaunay $1,745.00 I saw a painting at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts that inspired me. The original painting was done by Robert Delaunay and I found it to be very inspirational and a challenge to recreate it in fabric as well. There are three layers of design to the top only. It was very tedious work and required a lot of time and effort. There are thousands of pieces of fabric on this quilt; each one placed with great thought and care.
